Torn....

Torn between the awesome contrast this barn gives in black and white, and the amazing red. I love cool backgrounds. You always want to focus on the person in the frame, but a background can make or break a portrait. Lil' Miss A does these poses all by herself. Maybe I could have her be a senior model for me!

Ok, so maybe I'm done for awhile with shots of my dd. I knew I had to get these done before the busy fall season starts up, or I would never have finished them.

Headshots

A few of "A" again. More for our Grandma's checking in anyways. I need to focus on getting more of her with full out smiles before she loses any teeth. I think I only have about 6 months for that to happen.

Eyelashes

Need I say anything more!

Sunflowers!

I found this great field of sunflowers the other day, thanks to a little tip from Kellie. It was amazing. I branched out a bit to try some different perspectives. I think the results are pretty good. I have to thank my dd for dealing with the goatheads... I thought it was worth it, but I don't know if she did.

Big Storyboard

So what is the best way to get alot of pictures without having to frame them...Big Storyboards. This one was 30"x 30". I thought it might be too big, but really, with a girl this cute, how can it be too big?

Wakeboarding

Well, we were able to spend a lot of time on the boat this summer. J&J love to wakeboard. What's funny is how much more daring J becomes when the camera comes out. He even admits to putting on a good show for the Canon. I would highly suggest clicking on the storyboard so you can really see the first row of his "amazing air".

Charlene and Ernesto

So when Charlene called me she was so excited to book their session. These two have been married for 6 years, but they weren't able to have a "professional" at their wedding. So these are the first portraits they have had done together. What a joy it was to photograph them! It was like they were engaged...even after six years. And you know what I've said about hats...isn't this one great!
