See, I told you A loves the camera. I love that the chair and her tights are so bright. So I did take 8 years of classical ballet. I wonder if she'll follow in my shoes....who knows?

Sweet Kate
So even though it took us two sessions to get these shots, they are definitely are some of my favorites. The one lesson I learned during this shoot is it is best to schedule newborns when they are most likely to be sleeping. It seems that mornings work real well for most newborns, but parents know best. The other thing to do is to wear a black shirt if possible. It lets your newborn stand out real nicely.

B in Camo
It's real hard for me to be able to talk B into letting me photograph him. So this time I told him he could wear his beloved CAMO (we finally had to say he could only wear camo to school 3 of the 5 days) and he said "maybe". After I said we could have his best friend come over too, well that was the deal maker. I love how they try to look so tough.
So, usually I'm not the biggest fan of color....but how can I not show off those baby blue's of his! He doesn't get them from me. Also, you will probably see, I love hats. I think hats can really show the personality of a kid. They are just so much fun. So if you book a session, bring a hat for part of it, or I have several to choose from.

December Leaves
It's amazing how this 5 year old loves to have the camera on her. I hardly had to direct her "posing" at all. What was also so great was that she found her own prop (the leaves) in December.

Twins!
This was my first twins shoot. They were both over 6 lbs when born. The 2nd to last picture describes their personalities to a "T". The boy was just gentle, calm and content. The girl though was a little high maintenance. This is how her Mom described her...not me. I thought they were both sweet. Either way, she'll have her hands full...but full of love too!

Addy's Snow Hat
This little girl has the thickest cheeks ever. They scream "PINCH ME!" There's just one problem.... They are packed so tight and full under her skin that you can't get a hold of them. Wishing I could take some outdoor pics in the snow with the cute hat, but it's still just a bit cold.
