See... I love hats! It just kind of make these shots have an old fasioned feel to them. Sometimes these kids are just a bit serious aren't they, but I guess that lends to the old fashioned look also. I am just waiting for spring and some color! There is alot of brown in these. I guess it's just around the corner.

Beautiful Faces
I just love this collage. You can just see so many emotions and faces in one compact portrait. Collages can come in all shapes and sizes, but one like this is a favorite because it's symmetrical and square. I love square. Don't you just feel so happy when you look at her?!

Megan the Caterpillar
So we found a caterpillar today. "A" immediately had to name it Megan. I think the poor thing must have been knocked out a few times. The kids would drop it and we would think it was dead for about 3-4 minutes. It wouldn't move. And then all of a sudden it would slowly come out of it. So I guess I can't report that no animals or living things weren't harmed during this shoot.
It's amazing how tight your focus has to be in macro. I would think that my focus was on the bug (which it was) but the body would be in focus and not the face. The thing was only about an inch and a half long. I guess my aperature shouldn't have been at f/1.4. It was good to play with it though. So we did put Megan by a tree after hoping she would find a home.

Prices are subject to change. (If you click on it, the list will be in an enlarged view so you can actually see it.

David & Chelsi Wedding
So this wedding was so much fun to shoot. David and Chelsi were so cute and young. I was that old when I was married, and didn't seem so young then; but now 20 somethings just seem so young! These pics were taken early on a December morning just as the sun was coming up. December mornings are cold... Chelsi was such a trooper in her short sleeved dress. I was so thankful we were able to take these before the wedding though. 1) It gave us plenty of time and we weren't rushed, 2) we didn't have to worry about holding up the rest of the family, 3) it was raining right after they were married, 4) the morning light was so nice! These two were just so sweet, it was alot of fun to work with them.
